Role Overview:
We are in search of an accomplished Senior IT Banking Reconciliation Product Manager with a specialized focus on Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD). This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker who can steer the development and management of state-of-the-art reconciliation solutions for ETD products. The ideal candidate for this pivotal role must possess hands-on experience with Intellimatch and Gresham CTC reconciliation products, ETD reconciliation, coupled with expertise in the Agile delivery model and mastery of relevant software tools. Responsibilities:
Innovative Product Strategy:
- Formulate and execute a visionary product roadmap, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA) & Robust cyber security measures for ETD reconciliation.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies like smart contracts and decentralized finance (DeFi) to enhance ETD reconciliation processes.
- Employ software tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Trello to enhance collaboration and communication within Agile teams.
ETD Product Development and Enhancement:
- Collaborate synergistically with software development and engineering teams to pioneer features such as real-time reconciliation, machine learning-driven anomaly detection, and blockchain-based transaction tracking for ETD products.
- Implement scalable reconciliation solution for complex ETD instruments, including options, futures, swaps, and other derivatives.
- Showcase hands-on proficiency with Intellimatch and Gresham CTC reconciliation products, utilizing advanced techniques for reconciling intricate ETD instruments like equity options, interest rate swaps, and commodity futures.
- Lead the integration of cutting-edge technologies, including machine learning algorithms and robotic process automation (RPA), into ETD reconciliation workflows.
Strategic Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage proactively with stakeholders, emphasizing communication skills to decipher requirements from traders, quants, and risk managers.
- Sound understanding of volatility trading, risk analytics, and market surveillance in discussions with ETD stakeholders.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, employing SCRUM and Kanban methodologies, hands on exposure to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams (including 3rd party vendors), utilizing Agile collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Trello to enhance transparency and communication.
Cutting-edge Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Oversee the implementation of innovative testing methodologies, including regression testing, stress testing, and chaos engineering, to ensure the robustness of ETD reconciliation processes implemented on Intellimatch and Gresham CTC platforms.
- Utilize automated testing frameworks, such as Selenium and Junit, to streamline testing workflows in an Agile environment.
- Employ automated testing frameworks, DevOps and continuous integration (CI / CD) in the context of ETD product quality assurance.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Demonstrate a profound understanding of regulatory requirements for ETD products, such as Dodd-Frank, MiFID II, and EMIR in compliance strategies.
- Implement risk management best practices, utilizing tools such as RiskWatch and ActivePivot to assess and mitigate risks associated with ETD reconciliation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or finance. Advanced degree or professional certification (Scrum Master / Product Owner) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Banking domain (experience with Swiss banking system is preferred), proven experience of at least 8+ years as a hands-on IT Product Manager, specializing in reconciliation solutions for Exchange Traded Derivatives
- Prior experience in leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning-driven anomaly detection, robotic process automation (RPA) & Robust cyber security measures for ETD reconciliation is Must.
- Hands-on expertise with Intellimatch and Gresham CTC reconciliation products is an absolute must.
- Technical acumen with familiarity in AI, RPA, Blockchain and other cutting-edge technologies relevant to ETD reconciliation. Showcasing relevant certifications will get more priority.
- In-depth understanding of ETD instruments, markets, and trading platforms, showcasing proficiency in equity options, interest rate swaps, and commodity futures.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies with hands-on experience using Agile collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello & DevOps tool chain (Jenkins, GitLabs, plunk, Junit, Maven, Chef)
- Proficient in automated testing frameworks, including Selenium and Junit, for ETD reconciliation processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing hands-on collaboration, cross-functional teamwork, and client communication in an Agile setting.
