How to become an SAP consultant?

We occasionally receive emails from people asking “How can I become an SAP consultant?” Undoubtedly, there is no single solution. The SAP market can be entered in a variety of ways. Here is a handful that we can imagine. Learn SAP and become certified. An authorized SAP training partner can certify you in any SAP module or consultant course. Although pricey, SAP training is worthwhile.

Become a consultant for a firm You can think about working as a junior SAP consultant for an IT consulting firm like IBM, Deloitte, Infosys, etc. if you have strong business/domain knowledge and desire to learn SAP.

Train with us or work in SAP support. You can think about working as a trainee or support staff for a business that has SAP implemented. The company may later sponsor your SAP certification and training. Finding such a business and persuading them to hire you is the difficulty in this situation.

Become a non-SAP participant in an SAP project. SAP initiatives frequently need expertise outside of SAP. For instance, many projects call for a data conversion specialist. You might consider joining the project if you have the strong database and SQL skills and later learn SAP.
