Role Overview:
- As the IT project Manager, you will be responsible for leading diverse banking projects in the Swiss market. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, as well as taking care of existing customers and business partners.
- Your strong customer orientation and technology know-how will help you actively promote the “Swiss Himmel” brand by participating in customer events and trade fairs, representing, and strengthening the brand in the region.
- Your strong technology know-how will help you to actively promote the “Swiss Himmel” brand as a leader in digital transformation within the banking and financial services industry. Your ability to identify, research, and close business opportunities will be the key driver of success in the Swiss market.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project objectives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders through regular updates and reports.
- Allocate and manage resources efficiently, working closely with resource managers to ensure optimal team performance.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Establish and enforce project quality standards, conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, addressing conflicts and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
- Sound understanding of Bank Reconciliation services, reconciliation know how on Gresham CTC product will be a Plus plus.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering & Technology.
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated track record of developing and growing client relationships, Project / program management & leading teams delivering end-to-end solutions within the Banking and Financial Services Industry.
- Hunger to consultatively sell new services, with a demonstrated track record of over delivery against targets.
- Strong technology background with expertise in Software Life Cycle (Waterfall as well as Agile) and Digital Transformation.
- Deep experience working within Banking and Financial Services is essential.
- Good knowledge of Bank reconciliation systems and diverse products used (like Intellimatch, Gresham CTC).
- Project / program Management experience within Banking and Financial Services client bases and experience managing and working with multi location and multi technology / skill development teams.
- Ability to establish oneself as a trusted advisor to our clients, help to extend our client network, and build up specific industry and functional expertise.
- Experience forming and leading ad hoc teams of experts.
- Strong in analytical thinking but also have a creative mind to develop innovative solutions for our clients and are familiar with agile working practices such as design thinking, SAFe, Scrum, etc.
- Effective and influential verbal, written, electronic communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, a quick-thinker, able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
