Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Telecom Solution Architect to lead end-to-end OSS/BSS and network/service-assurance transformations aligned to TM Forum standards and SAFe Agile delivery. You will set the target architecture, drive tool consolidation, and introduce AI/ML-driven, closed-loop operations and advanced observability that improve customer experience, service quality, and cost efficiency. The role requires equal parts strategic leadership and hands-on delivery in multi-vendor, multi-domain environments.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Transformation Leadership

Lead large-scale OSS/BSS and network assurance programs in compliance with TM Forum (eTOM/TAM/SID) and MEF standards.

Define architectures enabling Autonomous Networks (L4 and above).

Orchestrate merger integrations, platform consolidations, and phased migrations across complex multi-vendor estates.

Modernize digital care: real-time troubleshooting portals, omni-channel outage notifications, and self-service.

Conduct gap analyses and architecture maturity assessments; produce actionable roadmaps with value and risk profiles.

Design end-to-end service assurance across fixed (DSL, HFC, FTTx), wireless, and core domains.
Network Assurance, AI/ML & Closed-Loop Operations

Architect AI/ML-driven closed-loop assurance: predictive detection, automated RCA, and self-healing.

Integrate COTS assurance platforms and observability tooling into a unified service observability layer.

Embed ITSM workflows (incident, problem, change) for end-to-end triage and automation.

Execute tooling consolidation to reduce OPEX, improve visibility, and enhance cross-domain correlation.
Architecture & System Integration
-
Lead integration of network, OSS/BSS, observability, and ITSM platforms using modern APIs and event-driven patterns.

Run PoCs and product evaluations for assurance, monitoring, and OSS/BSS modernization initiatives.

Design hybrid and cloud-native reference architectures using containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration frameworks.

Ensure interoperability and minimal risk during large-scale migrations from legacy to target state.
Leadership, Agile & Quality Excellence

Act as trusted adviser to senior/C-level stakeholders; translate strategy into executable roadmaps.

Champion SAFe delivery at scale; coach teams in lean systems thinking and value stream optimization.

Apply Lean/Six Sigma for process efficiency, quality, and waste elimination.

Lead technical program management across vendors and geographies; contribute to TM Forum Catalyst and innovation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Telecom Domain Expertise
-
15+ years in OSS, BSS, digital channels, and network/service assurance for telecom operators.

Proven track record delivering transformation programs for Tier-1 operators.

Deep knowledge of TM Forum and MEF; familiarity with SID, service provisioning/assurance, order and operations management.

Strong grounding in legacy and modern technologies: Voice (TDM, ISDN, SIP, VoIP), Data (MPLS, SD-WAN, Internet), Access (Fiber, Wireless), and UC.

Demonstrated ability to craft working solutions for OSS/Service Fulfillment/Service Assurance.

Expertise designing towards Autonomous Network architectures.

5+ years leading design/architecture teams, including presales support for complex solutions.
Technical Skills & Tools

Assurance & Observability: IBM AIOps, IBM Spectrum, DataMiner, Zenoss, ServAssure, HPNM, SolarWinds, Resolve, Dynatrace, ELK, Checkmk, Grafana, Splunk.

ITSM & Workflow: ServiceNow, BMC Remedy; automation for incident/change/problem processes.

Architecture & Integration: OSS/BSS consolidation, hybrid & cloud-native design, Docker/Kubernetes, event-driven integrations.

AI/ML & Automation: Predictive analytics, anomaly detection, automated RCA, closed-loop control.

Delivery: Planning, execution, and risk management for multi-vendor, multi-platform transformations.

Awareness of ITIL and modern project management practices is a plus.
